This ministry provides intercessory prayer for specific parish prayer intentions. Multiple groups (e.g., Home Bound, Adoration, Friday Prayer Group, Let Us Pray and Living the Eucharist small groups) pray for the same intentions each month.

Parishioners take turns leading the Rosary before the 8:00 AM weekday Masses, as well as various novenas and litanies after Mass ends. Parishioners who attend the 5:00 PM Saturday evening Mass, the 8:00 AM Sunday Mass, and the 10:00 AM Sunday Mass also take turns leading the Rosary before Mass begins.

The Seven Sisters Apostolate is a call to strengthen the Church by ensuring that a Holy Hour is prayed each day of the week for the sole intention of a specific priest or bishop—“a holy wasting” (cf. Mt. 26:10) or lavishing of prayer for his deeper conformity to Christ. Here at St. Dominic’s we pray for our pastor. Each of the seven members commits, for one year, to a Holy Hour on a distinct day of the week, thus covering a complete week. The commitment is to that day; the Holy Hour can be prayed at any time on that day, ideally in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.

Members of this group make cord and bead rosaries that are then donated to various parish and diocesan ministries. All materials are provided, and for those who are inexperienced, lessons are given.
